EBT vs. food stamps vs. SNAP

EBT = Electronic Benefits Transfer. WIC & TANF are distributed through the EBT “rails”.

SNAP = Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

“SNAP benefits” and “food stamps” refer to the same thing. Use either one depending on the context.
